Donated a Huge Sum of Money to a Hospital and an Orphanage Centre
Rajan Mahtani during the festival season donated a huge sum of money to a few people of the nation who are much less thought about during happy hours of life. His donations have gone a long way in putting huge smile on the faces of hospital staffs and patients at Kawambwa Hospital and orphans at Kachema Musuma Orphanage Centre. Very few affluent people think about these less privileged persons while merry making. It’s really great of Dr. Mahtani that he proved himself someone different.
Helped in Providing Clean Water Access in Rural Areas in Zambia
There was not much water in some rural areas in Zambia. Finance Bank under the chairmanship of Rajan Mahtani partnered with World Vision Zambia to provide clean and safe water to those rural communities. 11 boreholes were drilled in 11 districts of Zambia allowing women of the families with ample of time to do other important works. Before the boreholes were drilled, the women of each family in these rural communities had to walk a long way to fetch water from pond that was shallow and dirty. This caused water borne diseases; many people even used to die drinking the dirty water. However, with Dr. Mahtani’s efforts the scenario is something different now in Zambia. The Mukango Water project in 2012 has really bought clean and safe water to people living in rural Zambia.
